Once more into the skies once more! |
As with last year members received 10 tickets to buy and-or sell.
On 4th September 2010, the Committee will gather to launch the sold tickets and we hope that with full sun and a steady wind the balloons will skuttle off up into the blue beyond.
Last year Member Mr Bob MacAlister of Wareham was the winner with his balloon being found near Kiel on the German coast.
A large THANK YOU to all who took part in 2009.
The race is sponsored again by The President ~ Lord Normanton and our sincere thanks for his help and assistance in making for a bit of sport and a good fund raiser towards our Annual Dinner later this year.
